Update: Pressure for a National PSA Screening Programme

Aug 13, 2025 | Return|

Our founder, Graham Fulford MBE, has been invited to a parliamentary reception at the House of Commons to be held on October 14th, at which Prostate Cancer Research aim to demonstrate how targeted prostate cancer screening can be introduced across the UK.

This cross-party event, sponsored by APPG on Prostate Cancer Chair Calvin Bailey MBE MP, the Rt Hon David Lammy MP, and PCR Ambassador the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, will bring together the prostate cancer community, campaign supporters and parliamentarians to celebrate the launch of the report.

The report will aim to demonstrate how a targeted national prostate screening programme for high-risk groups can be made a reality, adding further evidence at a key time as the UK National Screening Committee finalises its current review.
